Karagümrüklü; Cevahir Bedesteni'nde dükkânı vardı. Ağızlıkçı İzzet Usta'nın yanında yetişti. 1936 Ankara El İşleri Sergisi'nde ağızlıkçılık dalında birinci oldu, 1938'de Almanya'daki uluslararası el işleri sergisine katıldı. Kemane tornası ve belgelerinin usta Mehmet Bildik'te olduğu belirtiliyor — A dereceye çıkabilecek birincil belge kaynağı.
