1956 Erzurum doğumlu. Kısa süre öğretmenlik yaptıktan sonra Oltu'da Mustafa Usta'nın yanında tespihçiliğe başladı. 1983'te İstanbul'a gitti, iki yıl tamir ve üretim yaptı; 1986'da Erzurum Rüstem Paşa Çarşısı'nda dükkân açtı. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı Yaşayan İnsan Hazineleri Ulusal Envanteri'nde 02.0082 numarayla 'Tespih Yapım Geleneği' alanında kayıtlı (2018) ve 2024'te 'Yaşayan İnsan Hazinesi' ödülünü aldı. R2'nin EN YÜKSEK ÖNCELİKLİ adayı.
