1956 Erzurum doğumlu. Kısa süre öğretmenlik yaptıktan sonra Oltu'da Mustafa Usta'nın yanında tespihçiliğe başladı. 1983'te İstanbul'a gitti, iki yıl tamir ve üretim yaptı; 1986'da Erzurum Rüstem Paşa Çarşısı'nda dükkân açtı. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı Yaşayan İnsan Hazineleri Ulusal Envanteri'nde 02.0082 numarayla 'Tespih Yapım Geleneği' alanında kayıtlı (2018) ve 2024'te 'Yaşayan İnsan Hazinesi' ödülünü aldı.
